Chris Antrim – President
Chris Antrim is a hardworking teacher known for his tireless dedication and passion for supporting students. Every day, he goes above and beyond in the classroom, always willing to stay late and provide extra help. His commitment to the success and well-being of students shines through in everything he does.
As a Director of The Trades Project, Mr. Antrim brings that same dedication and leadership to supporting all students, clubs, classes, and teams. He works tirelessly to connect families, school programs, and sponsors—ensuring every fundraiser and effort directly benefits the Rosemont community. His hands-on approach and attention to detail make him an invaluable leader and advocate for our students.
Dominick Gomez Garcia – Vice President
Dominick is a graduate or Rosemont High School class of 2024. Following his two years in the ECD academy he immediately signed with UA Local 447 and became an apprentice studying plumbing and pipefitting. In addition to attending school two nights and a week and working for Southland, Dom volunteer’s countless hours supporting students and fundraising for the ECD academy. We welcome Dom to The Trades Project and are grateful for the work ethic, passion and dedication to the skilled trades and the Rosemont Community.
Liza Contreras – Secretary
Formerly Leach… I’m a proud Rosemont High School Class of 2020 graduate. I’m currently studying Social Work at Sacramento State and will graduate in Spring 2027.
Helping others has always been important to me, especially when it comes to supporting students and improving access to opportunities.
I run my own business as a massage therapist and even though a 4-year degree had always been my plan I am SO grateful to have studied a trade and learned massage therapy- I carry with me a sense of pride to know that I perform a skill that is needed and appreciated by so many!
Blythe Antrim – Social Media/Outreach
Blythe Antrim has been a teacher since 2000, and her last 12 have been as an English teacher at RHS. She has served in many capacities including teacher of Honors English, English for ECD, theater director, and as a union rep for SCTA. Her latest role as Media Coordinator for The Trades Project is inspired by her passion for students, and her newest creative outlet- social media. This combined with her desire to prepare students for a successful and fulfilling life beyond high school make her an excellence choice for Social Media/ Outreach Coordinator.
